About Emily
I began my studies in Criminology and Criminal Justice and although I managed to last 3 Semesters I found the course and my prospects frighteningly boring. I talked my way into taking a 3rd year Marketing elective in my 3rd Semester, and thanks to a flamboyant Lecturer with a slightly dark sense of humour I then traded my course and campus and set off to the world of Marketing.
Since completing my degree I have worked in different industries in different Continents and I now find myself back in Brisbane learning, loving and living the web space.
What Emily does
My role here is to make ireckon a better place. That means, a better place to do business with, a better place to work and a better place to visit. I communicate, research, strategise, implement, measure and report.
I find myself doing new and interesting things every day, and especially love when I get to put my ramblings up on our company blog.
I also (try to) look after the office fish – which I’m sometimes pretty good at.
