My cake is made up of a big chunk of Linux server adminy stuff, a thick layer of perl, with mysql frosting, and topped with php, c, java, python and pascal sprinkles. The cake is not a lie :)
I'm (mostly) self taught and love how in Linux there's always a solution, around every corner there's something new to learn and play with.
I waste a lot of my time feeding my WOW addiction, hence the creation of the reduce the lag proxy. Or I stay up way too late working on random projects or messing with our servers, and end up calling in 'sick' when I realise it's 6am already.
But I'd much prefer to be off skiing somewhere, probably in Japan.
What Andrew does
The title 'Secret Service Agent' is because everything I do is hidden in the background. I spend most of my time logged into ireckon's servers and love coming up with weird out of the box solutions to those strange problems you customers invent for us. When the 'big' stuff breaks it's my phone that's first to start having a spaz attack, also means I'm the first to be woken at 3am.

Contactable? Probably not. But I often eavesdrop into the support departments phone calls. It's probably me you hear that interrupts to yell the answer across the room. And I'm too antisocial to use them 'social' media thingies.
