what we do >> social media

Managing your social media presence requires some planning

Part of the challenge with using social media is establishing what can be achieved with the resources you have and then evaluating the best methods to do so.

If you are not a big user currently but understand how important social media can be, then learning in a safe environment is also important. There are no absolutes. The very nature of social media is that it is evolving faster than those who claim to have it all sorted can keep up with it.

Don't do what you don't do!

If you are not participating in social media conversations yourself, you will find it much harder to understand and implement a decent social strategy.
That said, it doesn't mean you can't (or shouldn't) get started and learn how you can change the way you interact with your communities.

The tools themselves are not the social part. How you use the available tools to meet your strategic goals is the important part of moving your organisation to a more open and social organisation.

Our approach is consultative and practical. We understand many parts of the social equation, and can guide and assist in setting strategies, managing campaigns and even assisting in actually running key elements of your strategy.

Your strategy will incorporate how you wish or need to communicate to the different groups relevant to your organisation (your community), what your business objectives are and what technological solutions exist to meet those objectives. How will the technologies be integrated to your business, what human resources will be required, what is the corporate communication style, how would more direct tools work within the company structure?

Of course budget matters, as well as how to integrate, train and measure success or failure.

Not all roads are paved with gold, and utilising the many technologies available and / or opening the door for direct communication between your company and your customers, requires a willingness to have a few failures, or issues, and to learn how best to handle these types of issues.

Like all good social conversations we feel the best way to work out whether we are the right team to help you is to have a real life conversation about it. We would love to discuss your social media needs.
