ARK CMS - Managing big sites

ARK is a Content Management System that makes managing the content on high volume websites easy!

ARK was built specifically for article styled sites, where the delivery of all pages was based entirely around article / story content. While it is highly adaptive and is used for a number of traditional style sites, its core purpose is News style sites.

It was designed essentially for the publishing industry to cater for publications from newspapers to magazines, journals to e-zines.

Web based and provided as Software as a Service (Saas), ARK can be deployed rapidly. The templating system is designed to ensure in-house staff can manage all of the site and control it without any programming experience at all.

The dynamic model delivers high performance site delivery, automated functions, syndicated content, and complete remote access. ARK allows the site to dictate the templates, unlike many CMS tools which control the look and feel with rigidity. Built in add-on functionality allows for automatic private / restricted area content including paywall style functionality, with no additional code support (at the CMS end), e-newsletter production from site content, list management and archiving of historical content.

Ark provides a full staging environment which allows complete oversight of site upgrades and changes, and live releases ahead of time.

Currently supporting sites storing over 100,000 pages, it has proven its ability to manage volume time and time again. ARK is used for a very specific purpose and the ireckon team use their understanding and experience in a range of CMS products to ensure the right tool is provided for each job.
