About Matt

I immigrated to Australia from South Africa in 2005, with an Honours Degree in English Literature Studies… so of course I did the sensible thing and dumped that career for a life in Online Marketing down under.

I’ve been around the block in the online marketing field, working in the hyper competitive travel space, ranking sites for flights, accommodation, hire and tours verticals. Specialising in the search and social fields, I’ve worked with multi-million dollar brands, right through to small businesses with smaller budgets.

Digital alchemy! I look after all things Online Marketing here at ireckon. In plain English, that means I help people achieve their goals online.

• I make my own biltong, it's good.

• I used to be the lead guitarist in a touring band back in SA. I had long hair and a penchant for brown m&ms.
