I went to uni to become an IT nerd, dropped out, worked for 10 years in ill-suited jobs, spent 6 months unemployed when the dot com bubble burst, decided maybe there was something in this tertiary education thing after all, went back to uni, graduated with high distinction, landed a job at ireckon, quit, came back and then decided that I'm not really a career kind of guy and would rather work part time and spend more time with my kids. Luckily Darryl still puts up with me.

What Blair does

I am a code guy (or code weaver). Basically, I write stuff. It's someone else's job to make it look good because I don't have a creative bone in my body. I do try to make the stuff I write good, robust and reliable though.

Fun Facts

• I don't drink caffeinated drinks or alcohol but I'm not a health freak mainly because I spend too much time sitting near Andrew and his Minties.
• I do run stupidly long distances. What's stupidly long? Let's put it this way - once you get to the finish line of a marathon, I keep going.
• I am told I have too many kids and should get Foxtel. But I've seen Foxtel and it looks like more channels of nothing on. This is why I have Tivo.
