Support for our Bush Fire victims

The disastrous bush fires that have swept through Southern parts of Australia have left a trail of devastation in their wake, and continue to destroy homes, properties, livelihoods and families.

ireckon have been watching closely as the crisis continues, as the most destructive bush fires in Australia’s history punish the landscape and our friends and families. As usual the Australian Red Cross has been one of the first to respond by offering aide to the victims of these fires.

ireckon are keen to also offer a helping hand, and we have decided to donate $2 from every bunch of flowers sold via our affiliate website Buyflowersonline.net.au during the month of February 2009 - to the Red Cross State Government Victorian Bushfire Appeal Fund.

With Valentine's Day on Saturday we hope people use this opportunity to not only show someone how much they love them, but also show our Southern neighbours they are in all our thoughts during this incredibly tough time.
