Australia Day saw ireckon working with our good friends at the Story Bridge Hotel to broadcast the Annual Australlia Day Cockroach Races live online!

Implementation of the strategy ireckon came up with saw us covering all the events on the day including all the races, the Miss Cocky Competition and the Best Stable (Best Dressed team) Competition.

Using a combination of the brand new Cockroach Races website and freely available Social Networking tools such as Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube, we were able to share photos, videos and interviews live online. All the race results were broadcast online as and when they happened, with some great commentary by @cockyraces and @thebigcocky on Twitter.

Through the heat, beer and sea of green and gold we had a great time getting involved with and spreading the reach of the Cockroach Races using the web.
