Custom tools for Pat's Ikebana website
04May08
Each website ireckon delivers for our clients is designed and built to suit their individual needs, whether it is a simple brochureware site or a fully developed online portal.
The new website for Pat’s Ikebana (Sogetsu Ikebana) needed custom tools integrated into the site that allowed Pat the ability to manage areas of content on the site herself.
With a design already produced by Mariart Design Studio, a Brisbane graphic design company, Pat’s Ikebana needed a website that showcased the amazing art of flower arranging that Sogetsu Ikebana stands for.
Custom tools including a photo gallery allowing for easy upload of images; news tools ensuring visitors are kept informed of the latest news; and tools to allow the classes page to be kept up to date, have been designed and built by ireckon for Pat’s Ikebana.
Those pages, along with an online contact form, and links page make up Pat’s Ikebana web site. Sogetsu Ikebana is the art of flower arrangement in accordance with particular aesthetic principles, and Pat’s Ikebana website has been built to ensure it is both easy to navigate and use for the visitor, as well as being easy to use and keep current by it’s owner.
Have a look at Pat’s Ikebana’s new website and see for yourself this art form that originated centuries ago in Japan, but has evolved and spread to be taught in Brisbane, and other cities around Australia.
